KUMON is a unique after-school program that has topped several categories in the Franchise 500 ranking by “Entrepreneur Magazine” for many consecutive years. BRAC KUMON LTD is an initiative of the KUMON Institute of Education, Japan in partnership with BRAC, which established the first Kumon centers in Bangladesh to offer its Math and English program for children from all across the country to make them learn independently and have quick and accurate mental calculations.

Job Purpose:

ERP & Kumon Applications Product Manager will bridge the gap between business goals and technology. The ideal candidate champions user-centricity, oversees the development of applications and leverages data to drive strategic decisions. The Product Manager will improve core applications, boosting efficiency, innovation, and growth.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and management of scalable ERP systems and Kumon desktop and mobile applications, ensuring alignment with user needs, business goals, on-time delivery within scope, budget and technical feasibility.
  • Develop and manage product roadmap and backlog, prioritizing features based on user feedback, business impact, and technical considerations.
  • Proactively manage changes to application scope, objectives, schedule, and costs, involving stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility, and communicating effectively with development teams.
  • Gather and analyze user requirements for the ERP and Kumon applications, ensuring they meet user needs, solve their pain points, and align with technical capabilities.
  • Conduct user testing and gather feedback for both desktop and mobile versions of the applications, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience across platforms.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation, integration, and ongoing maintenance of the applications.
  • Monitor and report on application performance and user adoption, identifying areas for improvement, demonstrating product value, and proposing technical solutions to address limitations.
  • Ensure application data and processes comply with internal and external audit standards.
  • Train and assist stakeholders in the effective use of the ERP and Kumon applications, providing clear guidance, addressing technical concerns, and fostering user adoption.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Expertise in all phases of the product lifecycle, including planning, execution, scope management, post-implementation support, and ongoing user adoption for both ERP systems and mobile/desktop applications.
  • Strong project management skills demonstrated through leading and coordinating complex technical projects, including mobile and desktop application development, from initiation to completion.
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining risk management and security protocols to protect sensitive data within ERP systems and mobile/desktop applications.
  • Knowledge of User research and user experience (UX) design, Metrics and data analysis, System architecture principles.
  • In-depth understanding of ERP systems and functionalities.
  • Hands on experience in product Launch and Post-Launch Support.
  • Ability to align technology initiatives with overall business goals and strategies.
  • Expertise in creating and executing clear roadmaps that prioritize features based on impact and feasibility.
  • Understanding and implementing strategies to navigate organizational change and drive user adoption of new applications.
  • Managing project budgets and resources efficiently.

Educational Requirements:

Graduation in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology and Information System. Project Management certifications such as SCRUM, PMP, Prince2, Product Management certifications, Network, IT and database management certifications will be added advantages.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 6 years of working experience in the relevant sector. Successfully launching and managing software products, ideally encompassing overseeing the implementation of ERP systems, building and managing the development of mobile and desktop applications experience will get the preference.
